One Reason Why You Could Be Constantly Exhausted

Are you an overthinker?

Something my clients who are anxious, depressed, grieving or feeling generally directionless tell me is that they feel exhausted and drained - all.the.time!

There's a good reason for this.

When we get stuck in the rumination cycle, looping our thoughts over and over, without any real outcome, each evening when you sleep, you end up spending too much time in REM sleep so that your brain can close the loops. As a result you spend less time in deep, recovery sleep, which leaves you feeling as though you did not have a refreshing nights sleep.

In order to end this constant looping cycle, you need to learn to break the pattern of rumination and over thinking. Changing the way you think about your life and the lens through which you are viewing it is the key out of this cycle.

By doing so, you will allow your brain to rest more effectively and overall it will give you further ability to remain motivated and be able to have more impactful experiences in your life.

Being less exhausted means you will have more energy to achieve the things you want to achieve in your life.

It's really all in the way you think.
